Hi, sooo... I've been working on a story lately and saw this amazing image in my head... well, we all know I can't draw for shit so here we go.

I want a picture of a couple, but not the lovey dovey kind or the S&M that I see more and more on DA… I do want a pair of pictures that tear at your very heart strings… I would prefer a semi-realistic or realistic drawing to anime or photography. I would really prefer two separate images, but if you can think of a really creative and unique way to combine the two without taking anything away from the image I might still like it.

What I would love is the same picture, just with one focused on the woman and the other focused on the man. We’ve all seen those sad images where the girl/woman is holding the boy/man’s arm with that “don’t go” expression… this would be kind of the reverse. In the story she pulls away because she’s dieing and doesn’t want to drag him with her. He doesn’t know why she’s pulling away, only that he can tell she doesn’t want to.

Pic one:
The man in the back ground baring that “lease don’t leave” kind of look, mourning her loss as she walks away. He wouldn’t be trying to stop her though. The woman would be in the foreground. In the image that’s focused on the man it would look like she was crossing her arms against the cold of the night (the picture would be a night time scene). She would be mostly blurred as though she was up too close to the camera were it a photograph.

Pic two:
The man is again visible in the background, only this time he is more blurred. Mostly you can just see him standing there with his shoulders drooped, watching her walk away. The woman would be in the foreground. She’s no just crossing her arms against the cold, but more hugging herself. There are no tears, but she looks like she’s breaking inside. It should look like leaving him is the hardest thing she’s ever done. She should look paler than most and maybe tired as well as pained if possible. I would prefer a full view of him, but only a ¾ view of her.


As for prices on commissions I don’t know what the average rate is, but if you can give me a quote before hand (just an estimate) I’ll be able to tell you if it’s worth that much to me.




I only really have a reference image for the woman (because the character is based off of me, Message me for the pics). She would have startling grey eyes though, rather than brown, and no glasses in the picture. She’ be wearing dark denim pants (boot cut, not skinny), and a nicer shirt, possibly a blouse.

For the man, he should be slightly taller than her, not sure if that makes a big difference with the perspective or not. He should have short-medium length brown hair, and brown eyes. He should have moderately defined cheek bones and a healthy roundness to his face. He should be wearing jeans as well, and pretty much any kind of t-shirt or long sleeve shirt. His skin should also have a decent tan to it and he should be wearing flip flops (like all good beach bums)
